As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas D. Reed and Margaret E. Reed (Kruse); and his sisters, Rosemary and Nancy. He is survived by: his siblings, Claude Reed (Virginia) of Memphis, TN, Kent Reed (Martha) of Steward, IL, Kevin Reed of Sycamore, IL and Rosalie Gartner of Sycamore, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James' memory to Lifescape Community Services/Meals on Wheels.
