He is survived by: his wife Merry Smith Hensen of Rochelle; his daughter Machelle Mathis of Rochelle; his granddaughter Katrina Hager (Cory Shepherd); his stepchildren, Anne Hensen of Machesney Park, IL and Russell Hensen (Lisa) of Rochelle; and his siblings, Don Mathis (Deanna) of Cookville, TN and Rachael Stringer (Joe) of Stringer, MS..
