He was predeceased by: his parents, Matilda Landis and Ralph Landis; his wife Irene Woolbright; his daughter Deborah; and his siblings, Vivian Messer, Ralph Landis Jr., Lois Mason and Orva Leitz.
He is survived by: his son Jim (Nancy) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Christy Buehler, Steven Landis (Leslie), Emily Carson (Tim), Sarah Boyer (Joe) and Kevin Landis (Hilary). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
