He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Barringer and Clara Barringer; and his sister-in-law Maria Olson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Rainwater; his children, April Davis (Phil) of Steward, IL, Cindy McCluskey (Jeff) of Rochelle, IL, Kevin (Cheryl), Kathy Chisamore (Dan) of Rochelle, IL and Jeff Barringer of Burlington, WA; his grandchildren, Asheri Campbell (Bryan), Calista Gilszmer, Niki Bonnell (Chris), Kristi McCluskey, Shaine McCluskey, Cayla Skoli (Ken), Kara Van Hise (Eric), Cole Barringer (Alyssa), Danny Chisamore (Sarah), Hayden and Gavin Barringer; and his siblings, Judy Ponto (Ken) of Ashton, IL and Dennis Barringer (Maggie) of Rochelle, IL. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jack's name to the Ogle-Lee Volunteer Fire Department or Rochelle Township High School.
