She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Koechig and Pauline Koechig (Probst); her former husband William Howard Pinkston; her husband Don Mattson; her son William "Bill" Pinkston; her grandchildren, Aaron McGrath and Amber Pinkston; and her siblings, Shirley Paul, Lucille Lee, Robert Koechig, Lloyd Koechig, Leo Koechig and Lenora Pawlak.
She is survived by: her niece Sandra Hall; her son Jeff Pinkston (Kelly) of Dixon; her grandsons, Andrew Pinkston and Joshua Pinkston (Pam); her great grandchild Blain Pinkston; her sister Mary Ann Johnson (Donald) of Rochelle; and also Sandi Hall of Rochelle.
