With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Strawbridge (Rochelle, Illinois), who passed away on November 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Helen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Helen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchel Watson and Ethel Watson (Hamby); her husband Neil H. Strawbridge; and her sisters, Doris Hoard and Beverly Bright.
She is survived by: her sons, Neil Strawbridge (Pat) of Machesney Park, IL and Craig Strawbridge (Nadine) of Monroe, TN; and her brother Bob Watson (Fay). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice.
