It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George A. Reif (Rochelle, Illinois), born in Compton, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Reif and Maxine Reif (Bauer); and his sister Norma Jean Hinrichs. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Spragle; his children, Jeff Reif (Shirley) of Rochelle, Jeanne Sheridan (DJ) of Dixon and Kathy Elliott (Tom) of Dixon; his grandchildren, Travis Elliott, Tyler Elliott (Ashley), Danielle Ellis (James), John Sheridan, Adam Reif (Kelsey), Emily Reif, Randi Revenig (Brady) and Shaunna Sheridan; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Sheridan, Braeden, Maddy Ellis, Emmitt, Damon Sheridan, Addison, Riley Revenig and Brooklyn Reif. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rochelle United Methodist Church.
