She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Staudt and Geneva Staudt (Heister); her husband Carl H. Brune; and her brothers, Kenneth and Bryan Staudt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Winterton (Ole) of Rochelle, IL, Betzy Janssen (Craig) of St. Charles, IL, Caryn Goss (Ty) of Pekin, IL and Carlyn Brune of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchildren, Eric Winterton (MacKenna), Ryan Winterton (Jasmine), Marcus, Trevor Janssen, Taylor and Luke Goss; her great grandchild Henry Winterton; and her siblings, Calvin Staudt (Shirley), Curtis Staudt (Joan) and Sandy Yost.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Geneva's name may be directed to Serenity Hospice and Home or Faith Lutheran Church.
