He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Oleson and Violet Oleson (Smith); and his brothers, Dennis Smith Sr. and Larry Oleson. He is survived by: his wife Sally Oleson (Medine); his children, Stephanie Ramos (Patrick Olson), Sam Oleson (Brianna Stomberg), Gordon Oleson (Chasity) and Amy (Dan); and his grandchildren, Sierra, Macey (Drake Ramos), Aaron (Addilynn Oleson), Trevor, Hayley (Elizabeth Oleson) and Zack (Nate Askeland). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
