Gary Leininger Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Leininger of Rochelle, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leininger and Dorothy Leininger (Logsdon); and his siblings, Shirley Field, Lowell Gray Jr., Dean Leininger and Bill Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Watson of Rochelle; his sons, Elvis Leininger (Becky) of Rochelle and Jeff Leininger (Tracey) of Rochelle; his grandchildren, Courtney Svela (Jason), Adam Leininger, Tara Leininger, Tiffani Medema (Josh), Mallory Leininger and Ashlynn Leininger; and his great grandchildren, Payton Medema, Cayson Svela, Rylan Svela, Brayden Svela, Otto Medema and Kinley Svela. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
