It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Nelson of Rochelle, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric L. Nelson and Lorraine Nelson (McCleary); and his sister Laurri. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Elizabeth Rose Finnigan; his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Eric T. Nelson (Rebecca) and Jerod C. Nelson; his grandchildren, Rune and Elise; and his sisters, Marcelle Wells (Philip) and Jacqueline Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Eric R. Nelson Memorial Fund, addressed to the Nelson Family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, Ltd., P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.
