He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Capes and Mabel Capes (Shelton); and his sons, Timothy Capes and Randy Eugene Capes. He is survived by: his wife Carol Anne Vanderpool; his children, Greg Capes (Heidi), Todd Capes (Deb Fletcher) and Sharon Rush; his daughter-in-law Cindy Capes; his grandchildren, Randy Capes Jr., Brittany Baucom (Caleb), Karli Rush and Amber Panauski (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Randy Capes III, Vivian, Rose, Scarlett Baucom, Dorothy Streit, Arabella Panauski, Nicholas Underhile and Payton Fletcher. He is also survived by his family & friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice and Home of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
