She was predeceased by: her parents, Erich Arndt and Elenora Arndt (Hagemann); her husband Ernest Jordal Jr.; her brother Robert Arndt; her siblings-in-law, Janice Byro, Kermit Nordeen, Donna and Bill Cochran; and her great grandchild Henry Jordal.
She is survived by: her children, David Jordal (Debra) of Chana, IL, Judy Reizer of Rochelle and Margaret Smith (Bradley) of Bakersfield, CA; her grandchildren, Angela Riviera (Jose), Renee Preston of Rochelle, Matthew Jordal (Leah) of Ashton, Megan Jordal of Chana and Michael Jordal (Emma Ernst) of Rochelle; her sister JoAnn Nordeen; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Arndt, Nancy White and Arthur Byro Jr.. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elda Mae's memory may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Serenity Hospice and Home, or the Alzheimer's Association.
