He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Doty and Lois Elvira Higgs (LaMay); his wife Margie Higgs of Rochelle, IL; his brother Richard Higgs of Las Cruces, NM; and his children, Becky Fritz (Mike) of McHenry, IL, Melinda Higgs of Denver, Colorado and David Higgs (Shawn) of Richmond, IL. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
