He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. Adkisson and Opal Adkisson (Kemp); his sisters, Lana Thayer and Wanda Adkisson; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Williams and Larry Thayer.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Venable of Amboy; his son Charles "Tug" Adkisson of Amboy; his granddaughter Cameron; and his sister Sondra Williams of Kirkland, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068).
