It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Curtis Furman of Rochelle, Illinois, born in West Brooklyn, Illinois, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell H. Furman and Hiskea "Carrie" Furman (Harms); his wife Lujune "Becky" Beck; his daughters, Cynthia and Christine; his siblings, Keith Furman, Rita Meling and Joyce Gittleson; and his brothers-in-law, Mahlon Meling, Wayne Friestad, Herb Clark and Norm Gittleson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherrilyn Simmons (Kurt); his grandsons, Trent, Ryan Simmons and Curtis Caulder; his great grandchild Jaydon Caulder; his son-in-law Scott Caulder; and his siblings, Loren Furman (Ruth), Wayne Furman (Connie), Wendell Furman, Carol Friestad, Doris Hardy (Wayne) and Kay Clark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
It is requested that masks be worn and social distancing guidelines should be followed.
