She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Tigan and Joan Tigan (Hayes); her husband David Lee Hakanson of Rochelle; her sons, David Hakanson (Caroline) of Indianapolis, IN and Michael Hakanson of Rockford, IL; her siblings, Anne Tigan of Madison, WI, Elizabeth Lachi of Peoria, IL, Lucy Hare (Mike) of Dayton, OH, Jay Tigan (Effie) of San Jose and Joe Tigan of Michigan; and her grandchildren, McKenna of David, Grant, Drew, Keeley, Cooper and Noah.
Memorials may be made in Kit's memory to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
