With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carole Jaye Zimmerman of Rochelle, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carole left this world on December 15, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Priess and Hazel G. Priess (Bearrows); her husband William "Bill" H. Zimmerman; and her stepfathers, Max Priess and Richard Lambkin.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Zimmerman (Jan) of Rice Lake, WI, Anne Mott of Lindenwood, IL and Lori Bearrows (Dan McDermott) of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Paul Mott (Janel) of Wautoma, WI, Christine Schweitzer (Ryan) of Lindenwood, IL, Julie Charnock (Lance) of Rochelle, Amanda Bearrows of Rochelle, Jason Zimmerman (Kailee) of Chippewa Falls, WI and Ryan Zimmerman (Amanda) of Janesville, WI; her great grandchildren, Marisa, Dylan Whaley, Drake Charnock (Haley Vogt), Myah Portilla, Rowyn, Chayton Mott, Griffin Ohlinger, Nolen Schweitzer, Taylor Bearrows (Nate Cardinal), Hailey, Jonathan Bearrows, Autumn and Ivy Zimmerman; her great great grandchildren, Malikai Cardinal, Chryse Charnock and Hazel; and her sister Rebecca Graber (Fred). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (1100 Calvin Rd, Rochelle, IL 61068). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Carole's memory to the family to benefit Memory Lane at Liberty Village.
