She is survived by: her son David Friestad (Kate) of Rochelle; her daughter-in-law Debra Friestad of Allen, TX; her grandchildren, Katie Alonge (Nate) of Eau Claire, WI, Ryan Friestad (Jessica Hueramo) of Buffalo Grove, IL, Addison Friestad of Rochelle, Jay Michael Friestad of Addison, TX, Melissa Porath (Brandon) of Katy, TX and Brent Harrolle of Flower Mound, TX; her siblings, Kay Clark of Mt. Morris, IL, Loren Furman (Ruth) of Rochelle, IL, Wayne Furman (Connie) of Belleville, IL and Wendell Furman of Rochelle; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, Isaac, Julia Porath, Daniel Harrolle, Mia and Archer Alonge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carol's memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Serenity Hospice and Home.
