He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Young and Shirley Young (Stein). He is survived by: his sons, Eric Robert and Noah Andrew; his siblings, Cheryl Alliston (Alan), Lori Peterson (Ron), Greg Young (Susan) and Jeff Young (Joe); and his nieces and nephews, Quinn Peterson, Cody Peterson, Katelynn Crum (Charlie), Kersta Baker (Adam), Teigan Young and MeLisa Young.
