She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Burton Higley and Leah Higley (Freeland); her husband Leon Brickl of Rochelle, IL; her children, Valorie Chandler of Amboy, IL and Chris McCaffrey of Monmouth, IL; her grandchildren, Nicole Gigler (AJ) of Littleton, CO, Trenton Chandler of Amboy, IL, Whitnie McCaffrey of Dixon, IL, Laurin Hankins (Dee), Patrick McCaffrey of Naperville, IL and Joseph McCaffrey of Davenport, IA; her great grandchildren, Owen Smothers of Dixon, IL and Ellie Gigler of Littleton, CO; her siblings, Ray Higley of Portage, WI and Judy Grotzke (Chuck) of Princeton, WI; her sister-in-law Ellen Jerrett of Baraboo, WI; and her son Derek J. Brickl. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
