She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Friedly (Schneider); her husband Carl Chesnut; her son Terry Chesnut; her father Carl Walter Friedly; and her siblings, Walter Friedly, Robert Friedly, Margaret LeBeau, Janet Zettle and Lucille Brooks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Fritz Friedly, Ralph Friedly, Helen Brooks and Beverly Klopfenstein.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bertha's name to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, IL.
