He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Patterson and Isabelle Rogers (Reeves); his friend Donna Jean Engstrom; his children, Bernard Rogers and Dawn Rogers; his daughter-in-law Gail Rogers; his siblings, Billy, Dick, Freddy (Michael Rogers) and Shirley Leahy (Claira Rogers); and his siblings-in-law, Robert "Ed" Griffin, Steve Sinnott, Bill Leahy, Barton Engstrom, Bill Engstrom, Beverly Rogers and Mary Engstrom.
He is survived by: his children, Barton Rogers (Connie) of Steward, IL, Michael Rogers (Becky) of Rochelle, Michele Gittleson (Albert) of Rochelle, Mark Rogers of Rochelle and Matthew Rogers of Rochelle; his daughter-in-law Mary Rogers of Ashton; his siblings, Kathyrn Griffin, Tisha Sinnott of Albia, IA and Pat Rogers (Ann) of Venice, FL; his grandchildren, Adrienne Stafford (Seth), Natalie Gordon (Nate), Corrine Kroger (Dan), Benjamin Rogers (Julia Nusbaum), Anthony Rogers (Michelle), Shawn Naber (Phil), Erin Smith (Dean), Tricia Gittleson, Jacob Gittleson (Erica), Missy-Mike Gittleson, Seth Gittleson (Stephenie), Mark Gittleson, Jessica Rogers, Tara Schmitt (Mike), Danica Rogers, Mikaela Comstock (Mitch) and Tristan Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Austin Burkhart, Olivia Stafford, Elsie, Ian Gordon, Liam, Graden, Lillian, Graham Kroger, Bennett Rogers, Braden, Alyse Rogers, Kayla, Ashley, Paige Naber, Lane Smith, Alexa, Karsen, Hattie Schmitt, Calvin Comstock, Ryder Stombaugh, Zoe, Wren and Sadie Gittleson.
