He is survived by: his wife Florence Beightol; his children, Margarete Smith (William Blanton) of Rochelle and Albert Smith (Alison) of Adaline; his sisters, Hazel Nutt of Byron and Helen Taylor (Adin) of Oregon; his sister-in-law Dorothy Smith of Texas; and his grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Anna Blanton, Alana Smith and Allan Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
