He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stewart Monson and Claribel Monson (Greeley); his children, Randy Monson (Diane) of Rochelle and Linda Kellogg (David) of Rockford, IL; his grandchildren, Jeff Monson (Brooke) of Byron, IL and Angela Spartz (Robert) of Le Claire, IA; his great grandchildren, Parker Magne, Rhett Monson, Natalie and Aaron Spartz; and his siblings, Dale Monson (Judy) of Big Rapids, MI, Sharon Heinmann (Richard) of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Lawrence Monson and Audrey Greenquist.
Memorials may be made in Al's name to Unity Hospice.
