He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Simons and Marilyn Simons (Meeker); his aunt Mildred; his wife Karen Simons (Weinert); his grandchildren, Maximus Loughlin and Zinnia Festin; his siblings, Barbara Simons, Steve Simons (Patsy) and Patti (Jewel); his nephew Michael Dart (Megan); his nieces, Jenni Rothenberger, Danielle Van Winkle and Alicia Simons; his cousins, Ron and Janet Legg; and his father-in-law Chuck Rumsey.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the "Crohn's & Colitis Foundation" or to the "Oak Ridge United Methodist Church", with envelopes available at the funeral home.
