He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Smith and Reta Smith (White); his wife Melanie R. (Snapp); his son Nathaniel T. "Todd" Smith of Robinson, IL; his stepson Zachary Davies of Olney, IL.; his siblings, Steven (Debbie Smith) of Sebring, FL, Tim (Diane Smith) of Robinson, IL, Brent (Sheila Smith) of Sebring, FL and Mary Gordon (Julian) of Palestine, IL.; and his friend Todd.

The family suggests memorial donations to the VFW Post #4549 Transportation Fund or to the American Heart Association with envelopes available at the Funeral Home.
