She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Piper and Irma Piper (Curtis); her husband Charles Donald "Don" Purcell; and her siblings, William Piper, George Piper, Alene Bunton and Marilyn Piper.
She is survived by: her son Donnie M. "Don"; her daughter-in-law Karen Purcell; her grandchildren, Nicole, Mark Bedwell of Lawrenceville, IL and Michael Purcell; her great grandchildren, Dawson Bedwell, Peyton Bedwell, Brennan Bedwell and Kaitlyn Bedwell; her sisters, Thyra McKown of Lubbock, TX, Dorothy Ferguson and Helen Youngfelt; and her sisters-in-law, Nellie Piper of Neosha, MO and Carnell Piper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
