He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Michael and Clara Michael (Morrison); his wife Lorena (Parker); and his siblings, Oakey, John, Fred, Raymond, Eugene, Clayton Michael, Sadie Bell, Martha Bowen, Ruby Bockoff, Patricia Phillippe and Shirley Austin.
He is survived by: his son Greg; his daughter-in-law Barbara Michael of Spring, TX; his daughter Pam; his son-in-law Dennis Higgins of Highland, IL; his sister-in-law Marjorie Bolden of Vincennes, IN; and his grandchildren, Heather Rabinowitz (Richard), Ann Osborn (Perry), Angela O'Gorman (Tim), Jeffrey Michael (Virginia), Steven Michael (Jennifer) and Katherine Crotty (Brendan). He is also survived by six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
