He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Robert Poorman and Areatha Earnestine Poorman (Monk); his brothers, Lester Joe Poorman and Dale Poorman; his sister-in-law Carolyn Poorman; his sister Phyllis Poorman Wampler; and his parents-in-law, Nole Wayne and Lois Irene Swick.
He is survived by: his sons, Travis Poorman and Trevor Poorman; his grandchildren, Justin Poorman, Caden Poorman, Jameson Poorman and Ash Poorman; and his siblings, Kenny, Elizabeth St. John, Martha, Jerry Lindley, Paul and Nancy Poorman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
