She is survived by: her daughter Shirley K Darnold (Charles) of Robinson, IL; her nephew James "Jim" Stevens (Columba) of Robinson, IL; her grandchildren, Teresa, John Hosier of Oblong, IL, Jerry and Kerry Darnold of Robinson, IL; her great grandchildren, Erika, Tyler Kessler of Oblong, IL, Jeffrey and Grace Darnold of Indianapolis, IN; her great great grandchildren, Michael Winston Kessler, Harvey Wayne Kessler, Trilla Lee Kessler and Charles Thomas Darnold; and her great-nephews, Jimmy Stevens of Hammond, IN and Austin Stevens of Terre Haute, IN..
The family suggests memorial donations in memory of LaWana be made to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Robinson, IL or to Project Linus (blankets for surviving children).
