He is survived by: his children, Randy J. Franklin of Lexington, SC, Joe Franklin Jr. of Robinson, IL and Bethany; his son-in-law Daniel Berkley of Morris, IL; his grandchildren, Alyssa Franklin, Zachary Franklin, Marissa Berkley, Cannon Thackrey and Emma Berkley; his siblings, George "Ike" Franklin of Terre Haute, IN and Cora Weger of Palestine, IL; and his niece Martha Hightshoe of Hutsonville, IL..
