He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Markello and Margaret Markello (Dionisio); his wife Martha Markello; his daughter Laura; his children-in-law, Michael Murray and Peggy Markello; his great grandchildren, Logan Markello and Landon Markello; his siblings, Annie, Julia and Jim Markello; and also Jennifer Markello.
He is survived by: his son Gregory Markello of Robinson, IL; his children-in-law, Christy Weger, Bobby Hayes of Robinson, IL, Jeremy Markello of Robinson, IL, Candace Markello of Seattle, WA, Kathy, Cody Miller of Flat Rock, IL, Jennifer, Michael Trivett of Robinson, IL and Jonathon Murray of Robinson, IL; his great grandchildren, Jordyn Weger, Blake Moore, Rebecca Trivett, Blake Trivett, Jesse Trivett, JJ Markello, Madalyn Miller, Ally Miller, JT Miller, Laura Miller, Chase Markello, Maci Markello, Garrett Markello, Cobin Hayes and Brick Hayes; his great great grandchild Raylynn Moore; and his sister Dorothy Cox of Terre Haute, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the "First United Methodist Church" or to the "NOW Program", a program that sends supplemental food home on weekends with a number of students in the Robinson School District.
