He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Chapman and Juanita Chapman (Stanley); his daughter Susan Diane Miller (Chapman); and his siblings, Harold Miller, Bob Chapman, Doris French and Lois Funk.
He is survived by: his spouse Carolene Leonard; his son Brian Chapman (Leslie) of Robinson, IL; his great grandchildren, Cole Miller and Ellie Miller; and also, Lauren Marie Chapman (Jeron Harris) of Oblong, IL, John Brian Chapman of Robinson, IL, Jon Cody Chamblin of Cody, WY, Christopher Miller (Heather) and Carolyn Miller of Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the "Wounded Warrior Project" or to the "Linda E. White Hospice House".
