It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Clark Nickum of Robinson, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nickum and Vera Nickum (Clark); and his wife Diane Shore. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Derek Nickum (Mackenzie), Ryan Nickum, Eric Nickum and Kyle Nickum; his sister Jean Anne; his brother-in-law Rich Green; and also, Brad (Carolyn) of Tucson, AZ and Greg (Beth) of Redmond, WA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
