He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael George and Mary George; his brother Edward; and his brothers-in-law, Emmett and Jerome.
He is survived by: his wife Winifred George; his sons, Michael (Nancy) and Sheldon (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Kayla, Reanna, Aisha and Garrison; and his siblings, Gerald (Heather), John (Ramona), Patrick (Carol), Loyola (Dianne), Jerome (Wendy), Bride, Nora, Betty (William) and Julia Pre (Gordon).
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made Ronald McDonald House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
