He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Galway and Susie Galway; his sister Kathleen Crane (Walter); his grandson Lucas Curtis Galway Barrett; his parents-in-law, Ruth and Arthur Colbourne; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Colbourne, Ray Robertson and Wayne Colbourne.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Galway; his children, Wanda Barrett (Curtis) and John Galway; his grandchildren, Noah Barrett and Nevaeh Galway; his siblings, Reg Galway (Patsy), Brendan Galway (Brenda), Andrew Galway (Marie), Anthony Galway, Hayward Galway (Louise) and Linda Gillespie (Paul); and his siblings-in-law, Fred Colbourne (Florence), Lydia Colbourne, Betty Robertson, Harold Smith (Cathy), Ray Colbourne, Roland Colbourne and Glenn Colbourne (Lisa).
