He was predeceased by: his friends, Bernice, Eugene Doyle, Danielle (Hannah) and Mark; his niece Colette Monk Many (Brad); his grandson Alexander Southwell; his parents, Charles Southwell and Eileen Southwell; his parents-in-law, David and Margaret Crawford; and his brother-in-law Dave Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Crawford); his children, Jim (Darlene), Paul (Jackie), Agnes Butler (Leo) and Lisa Richard (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Ryan), Victoria, Rachel, Matthew (Makayla), Brittney, Jessica, Christopher Butler (Holly), Andrew Butler and Cole Richard Precious; his great grandchild Peyton Parsons; his sisters, Betty Carr (late Charlie) and Agnes Croke (Gordon); and his siblings-in-law, Pete, Jim (Marg), Bill (Darlene), Tom (Brenda), Pat (Ruby), Sam (Debbie), Shirley Griffiths (late Ken) and Anna Crawford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his loving memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or to a charity of one's choice.
