He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank T. Parsons and Ruby B. Parsons; his parents-in-law, William T. and Susie Drover; his sister-in-law Joan E. Osborne; his nephew Brian G. Osborne; his brother-in-law John Neil; and his niece Christine C. Neil.
He is survived by: his wife Jean (Drover); his son Danny Gosse; his stepdaughters, Sara and Michelle Ploughman; his siblings, Frank Parsons (Marilyn), Shirley Wells (Jim), Carol Winters (Terry) and Alberta; and his siblings-in-law, Marcy Neil, Edward Osborne (Martha), Raymond Drover (Evelyn) and Gerald Drover (Jean).
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his loving memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland & Labrador.
