It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Schoon of Roanoke, Illinois, born in Washburn, Illinois, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernell Schoon and Esther Smith Schoon; and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his children, Roger Schoon and Deanna Clark (Dean); and his grandchildren, Hannah and Braden Clark. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Roanoke Park District for the Hunzinger Museum or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
