It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert S. Martin of Roanoke, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Robert S. Martin to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel F. Martin and Barbara Bauer Martin; his wife Lois Beer; his siblings, Howard, Lewis, Wayne, John, Eugene Martin, Marjorie Rebbec and Dorothy Sauder; and his grandson AJ Martin.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Romersberger (David), Robert Martin (Vanessa), Greg Martin (Deb Golder) and Laurie Martin (Brad Ayres); his grandchildren, DeLene Bane, Robert Martin III, Kathryn Woolard, Samuel Romersberger, Sarah Martin, Gregory Martin II, Derek Farney and Nicholas Farney; and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Robert IV, Brett II, Lily, Colette, Colton, Greyson, Coral, Sage, Scarlet, Summer and Canon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Midwest Food Bank or the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church charity fund.
