He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murphy and Cecil Murphy (Bettis); his wife Colleen A. Russell; his daughter Beth Riley; and his grandson Brian Scott Murphy.
He is survived by: his son Scott Murphy (Milissa) of Scottsdale, AZ; and his son-in-law Charles Riley.
