He is survived by: his wife Letha Garretson; his children, Linda Blossom (John), Denise Byrne, Peggy Scheirer (Allan), Mike Byrne (Sherry) and Jeff Byrne; and his grandchildren, Tim Scheirer (Jill), Andy Scheirer, Rachael Scott (Nick), Allyson Dworak (Jason), John W. Byrne (Brooke) and Kassandra Walton (Chris). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
