He is survived by: his wife Debra Miller; his son Joshua Micheletti (Jenny); his grandson Job Micheletti; his brothers, Steve Schirer and Dan Schirer (Shelly); and his sister-in-law Lori Waughop (Earl).

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Transplant Foundation.
