He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Hostetler and Amanda S. Hostetler (Kennell); and his sisters, Nora Christner, Anna Hostetler and Cathryn Hostetler.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Christner; his children, Julie Hostetler and John Hostetler; his sisters, Lorene Hostetler and Marilyn Hostetler; and his brother-in-law Jake Christner of Roanoke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
