With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Harrer of Riverwoods, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Mary; and her husband James S. Harrer. She is survived by: her children, Catherine (Mike Wazny) of Charlotte, NC and James Harrer of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Caitlin Lewis (Kevin) and Gregory Kanvik; her great grandchild Sawyer; and her sister Catherine LaPorte (Michael) of Phoenix, AZ.
