He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Copp and Frances Mahan Copp; his wife Donna E. Crowe; his stepmother Mary J. Copp; and his brother Joseph Copp of Florida.

He is survived by: his children, Vicki Copp of Springfield, Tim Copp of Springfield and Terry Copp (Jeana) of Altamont.
