It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vito Praia (Riverton, Illinois), who passed away on March 20, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pietro Praia and Marianna Praia; his children, Anna Maria of Riverton, Peter (Penny) of Springfield and Edward of Riverton; and his siblings, Giovanna Pensabene of Springfield, Caterina Porcasi of Partinico, Sicily and Salvatore Praia of Partinico. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
