It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth J Glasscock of Riverton, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Scott and Nora Scott; her husband Wayne M. Glasscock; her children, Cathy Spargue, William Glasscock and David Glasscock; her granddaughter Barbara Hubbard; her siblings, Earnest Scott and Mary Hunt; and her children, Karen Dinsmore, Pat Baughman, Debra Klunick (Richard), John Lynaugh (Judy) and Caitlin Hubbard. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and a very large extended family.
Memorial donations may be made to Third Presbyterian Church of Springfield.
