It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Arthur Handlin of Riverton, Illinois, born in Lake Fork, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowillis Briggs and Virginia Nichols Handlin; and his siblings, Bruce and Gayle Ann. He is survived by: his children, Noll "Shawn" Handlin (Cynthia Renee) of Springfield, Elissa Ann Handlin-Taylor (Skip), Christopher J. Handlin (Sarah) and Nathan R. Handlin (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Dylan Briggs, Dalton Ryan and Daryn Jordan Handlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ron may be made to the American Cancer Society.
