He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowillis Briggs and Virginia Nichols Handlin; and his siblings, Bruce and Gayle Ann. He is survived by: his children, Noll "Shawn" Handlin (Cynthia Renee) of Springfield, Elissa Ann Handlin-Taylor (Skip), Christopher J. Handlin (Sarah) and Nathan R. Handlin (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Dylan Briggs, Dalton Ryan and Daryn Jordan Handlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ron may be made to the American Cancer Society.
